In many communities, the local grocer is a mainstay and plays a major role. They offer the ingredients of groceries, vegetables, and foster a sense of community.Grocery shops are valued in rural areas, where it can be hard and expensive to travel long distances  to get basics. It’s important that local stores stay active and serviceable.As said, Symbioun’s programs  are in support of structured community developments And we have helped communities to continue to manage and grow the small grocery stores to serve the local community.

Poultry Farming

Symbioun’s projects are designed to facilitate structured community developments throughout Sri Lanka. Since 2020, Symbioun has undertaken community development projects in the provinces of Uva and East, and our team does regular visits to ensure the longevity and success rate of the projects.

Wooden Furniture Shop

Towards the beginning of 2020, Symbioun added natural Wooden Furniture production to its, list to continue its goal of supporting carpentry. Though the furniture industry has been revolutionized by steel, aluminum, glass, and plastic-based production, Natural wood is undeniably a staple material in the manufacture of furniture Wood is a long-lasting and robust material and has been the material of choice for furniture looking for elegance and class. Wooden furniture also brings a feeling of nature indoors

The personality of a community is represented by small local industries, from shops to professional services. Symbioun’s mission is to motivate our community by empowering small-scale enterprises with capital.     Since small businesses provide a community of character and uniqueness. It’s neighbours who support neighbours, friends who support friends. Small businesses are more than that, though. In many concrete, quantifiable ways, they support their local communities. That’s also what Symbiouns means.

Flowerpot shop

By simply creating a clay planting pots, paint and decorate the pots with unique, interesting and colourful themes and designs can earn money. When done, the flowerpots can be sold in numerous ways, including directly to wholesale retailers and garden centers in particular, and to interior decorators and garden designers in residential and commercial areas.   They can also sell them  at a  nearby craft show market or     by placing them on the internet. An increasing trend among the community to design their own beautiful home gardens or any outdoor space is projected to lead the demand for flower pots & planters.
