I Ketheesvaran Flower Pot Batticola

One of the fastest-growing hobbies in Srilanka is gardening. More and more people are looking for interesting and unique ways to show their flowers and shrubs, so why not make amazing planting pots and start making money for these customers.

By simply creating clay planting pots, paint and decorate the pots with unique, interesting, and colourful themes and designs can earn money.  When done, the flowerpots can be sold in numerous ways,  including directly to wholesale retailers and garden centers in particular, and to interior decorators and garden designers in residential and commercial areas. They can also sell them at a nearby craft show or market or by placing them on the internet. An increasing trend among the community to design their own beautiful home gardens or any outdoor space is projected to lead to the demand for flower pots & planters.

Symbioun finds this flowerpot business as another opportunity for community development. And we can begin this business with a little investment.     So we have just started applying this within the Eastern Province societies. A flowerpot shop started by Mr. I Ketheesvaran ‘s family from Batticaloa, to produce flowerpots in the Rs 20000 capital with the funding of Symbioun. The project was launched in September 2020 and our team has been in       close touch with the family about the project’s success.

In terms of design, longevity, and materials, we hope the rest of the creation and the launch of flower pots are believed to propel the community’s       future development. And Symbioun is very proud to participate in a community’s growth and will always help its journey to build structured communities in Srilanka.
